She has worked in education, non-profit, and community organizing for over 10 years. Raised in the west suburbs, she now lives and works in the City of Chicago with her husband and cats. She is a passionate advocate of human and animal rights, and in her free time she enjoys traveling, watching films, and listening to true crime podcasts.
